First of all, the school is well situated! It's located in a beautiful place that added a beautiful sensation to the process of learning. In addition, it's very easy to get there with the metro, something that for me as a stranger that didn't know the language was important and helped a lot.

The teachers where excellent: clear, professional, teaching with rhythm but with patience at the same time. The classes were 2 hours and it gives a lot of chance to learn in class.

The materials that we learned were relevant to the level of language that I had and to the things that were nice to know about Brasil, about Rio de Janeiro .

After this experience of learning Portuguese in 'Fala Brasil' I went to travel alone in Brasil for 4 month and my Portuguese was already in a basic level of communication that enabled me to get along great and make friends wherever I went.

What I noticed more than anything else, was that the school taught me the most important basic things that allowed me to continue learning on my own more easily,
I received 'tools', important 'keys' to the understanding of the structure of the language , And from there everything became easier.

I have nothing but amazing things to say about Fala Brasil. From the very first day, our group loved the teachers, the teaching methods, the lessons, all of it was done really well. The actual school was great too! It is a very warm and clean place. We always enjoyed going to the school and interacting with the teachers. They took us for a lesson on the beach, in the city and at a restaurant. It was one of the major highlights of our time in Rio. Highly recommended.

I arrived in Brazil in September 2015 and started to learn Portuguese at Fala Brasil. I studied there for six months, and now I am practically fluent! The school is located in a very calm street, and the classes took place in a cosy luminous house. I had several teachers, and liked each one of them. All of them have a different backgrounds that make the conversations very interesting. It's a nice school, where the people are friendly and welcome you with open arms. The teachers try to make their best to help you improve your Portuguese. I would really recommend it!
